History

The company history

The company KECON was founded in 1999, following the merger of ESM Smede & maskinværksted and SK Stål, which were run by the two owners, Bjarne Kristensen and Benny Egesø, throughout the 90s. The new company started out with a 1,000 m2 production building at Industrivej 34 in Skælskør.

The name KECON is made up of the letters in the surnames of the two owners Bjarne Kristensen and Benny Egesø, coupled with CON, which stands for construction.
