specialises in the manufacturing and installation of structural steel – such as construction steel, balconies, stairs and guardrails, walkways for industry, etc., steel mezzanines, special structures, etc.
We have more than 20 years' experience of manufacturing steel structures and building elements for the Scandinavian construction and engineering industry. Our steel structures are used in both privately owned building properties and in industrial buildings, such as power plants, heating plants, the processing industry, the food industry as well as the pharmaceutical industry, and our structural steel is incorporated in systems in the infrastructure sector in Denmark, e.g. the Great Belt Bridge, the Copenhagen Metro, railway stations, etc
Kecon A/S was founded in 1999 following the merger of the two privately owned forging companies owned by Bjarne Kristensen and Benny Egesø respectively. The subsequent years were marked by a period of strong growth, which culminated in the acquisition of the steel stack manufactor SSM A/S in 2012 – Skandinavisk Skorstens Montage.
Kecon A/S has many acclaimed international references to its name, including NCC, Novozymes, Altan DK, Biogene, Mærsk, Haldor Topsøe, M.T. Højgaard to name but a few. Our products meet current international requirements, including Eurocodes/DS/EN 1090-2, CE and ISO 9001.
